Exploring Microcode CPU Instructions with RISC 8-Bit Breadboard Computer

Published

Abstract

A documented RISC-style 8-bit breadboard computer built with transistor and TTL logic, a discrete arithmetic logic unit, Arduino-managed microcode, four-bit opcode and address fields, and a four-digit seven-segment output. The public record connects the implementation, schematics, hardware documentation, and published paper.

Reproducibility

Evidence available for inspection

The repository publishes implementation code, component documentation, schematics, and EEPROM tooling, but Elixpo has not independently reproduced the complete paper-specific hardware build.
